Del and Becky Archuleta 

“We were given a chance. Now we want to help give someone else that same chance.” — Del and Becky Archuleta 
Adelmo “Del” and Rebecca “Becky” Archuleta have devoted decades to strengthening New Mexico through education, business, public service, and philanthropy.

Becky earned her master’s degree in secondary education from UNM in 1994 and was a career educator at La Mesa Elementary School. She was honored by the Golden Apple Foundation with their prestigious lifetime teaching award. Together, she and Del established the Rebecca Gonzales Archuleta Endowed Scholarship to support students in UNM’s College of Education & Human Sciences.

Del is the former owner and now retired Chairman of the Board of Molzen Corbin & Associates, where he built a distinguished career in engineering and leadership. A respected authority in water resources engineering, Del has paired his professional career with extensive civic service throughout New Mexico. A graduate of New Mexico State University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering and later received an honorary doctorate, Del has served on numerous boards and public bodies. His service has included the UNM Foundation Board, Lobo Club Board, UNM Hospital Board, New Mexico State Board of Education, State Board of Finance, PNM Board and several other organization throughout the business and nonprofit communities. His contributions to the state have earned numerous honors, including the Governor’s New Mexico Distinguished Public Service Award.

Del and Becky bring to Accelerate New Mexico a lifelong commitment to education and public service, grounded in a belief that investing in people is one of the most powerful ways to invest in New Mexico’s future.
